She had his hand crushed tightly in a death grip, like the hold of a python strangling its helpless prey. And although he possessed a high pain tolerance, he found that this may be the day he would be pushed to his limits. Evey’s flushed cheeks conveyed signs of tears, some of which she was still crying. Every once in a while, V gently wiped them away with a hanker chief. With the hand that wasn’t practically breaking every bone in her lover’s own; she tightly gripped the white sheets with every wracking pain that came and went. This had been going on since one in the morning, why wasn’t it over with yet!?

(If familiar with the comic, this is an extended scene from Sans' flashback.) Gaster rounded the corner, his two sons pressed against his chest. When the alarm went up that a human was loose in the building, his first thought was to get his sons out, then get that filthy human out of his Lab. The scientist kicked open a door to one of the larger rooms and set down his bundle. Sans, cradling the tiny Papyrus, glanced up at his father, fear in his quivering eyelights. "D-dad? Why are we in here?" "Stay here, Sans, I have to check to make sure the next corridor is clear. This room separates the main halls and the inner Lab.
